According to Websters dictionary, balance is defined as an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady; a condition in which different elements are equal or in the correct proportions.
In my eyes, the best part about balance and creating it in our own lives is that it usually looks different for everyone. Some people need to eat certain foods to feel energized and vibrant, others need to spend a certain amount of time outdoors to feel grounded and connected, and some people need to exercise in a certain way to feel ready to take on each day. Often, it takes some time, persistence and some mistakes along the way to find the balance that works best, but when you do finally stumble upon it, it can change your life!
The holidays often throw us off balance. We are tempted by treats, stressed out over social obligations and traveling, and often, we are left feeling guilty about our food choices and exhausted by overextending ourselves.
I want to help you prevent that this year. Sure, the holidays are a time for indulging, letting loose, and having a good time, but it is possible to indulge in the fun that the holiday brings without feeling the intense “holiday hangover”.
Wednesday December 18th, I will be hosting a “Holiday Wellness” donation based workshop with my dear friend (and holistic health coach) Jackie Damboragian in Westchester NY. We will be talking about finding balance this holiday season, and we will be sharing our favorite ways get through this holiday season with grace, ease and of course, health!
Because this class is donation based, we ask that you RSVP beforehand so we can properly prepare – there will be handouts, healthy snacks, and recipes! Please contact me to let me know that you will be joining us.
I hope to see you there!
with love and a balanced holiday season,
